These waffles are anything but basic. They are entirely gluten-free and vegan (just like sünabloom), and are packed with protein and nutrients. Beyond their nutritional value though—just, yummm.

sünabloom Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1/8 c chia seeds

  • 1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract

  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 3/4 cup sünabloom sunflower yogurt

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 1 cup chickpea flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • optional: 1 tsp maca powder

  • optional: 1 tsp ashwagandha powder

 

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the chia seeds together with the vanilla extract and cider vinegar and set aside to thicken into a gel.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the almond flour, chickpea flour, salt. baking powder, maca powder and ashwagandha powder.

  3. When the chia seeds have thickened, combine with the sünabloom, then mix into the dry ingredients.

  4. Cook according to your waffle maker manufacturer's instructions

  5. Serve topped with more sünabloom, maple syrup and berries (or whatever toppings you love)
